She also mentioned that it's not an ideal idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can cause a bad sleep pattern for later.

The CoZee is a fantastic option to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a crib, changing station or toddler bed. With the addition of a sofa bed extension pack, it can be converted into an bed. Although it can't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock the baby and take them to school.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of Chicco's more expensive options. It does have numerous excellent features. It can be used either a side-sleeper or a standalone crib that is suitable for babies from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel thanks to the new mechanism. It is also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and legs that retract to installation underneath any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of access to the side panel that can be moved up and down at the touch of the button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds as it meant that they could easily reach in and pick up their baby without waking them up.
The side panel can be lowered on its own however it isn't recommended as this increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism guarantees that it will only stay down when attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is an excellent feature to have for peace mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic is designed to work with any bed, including divan bases and beds with drawers thanks to the legs that can be telescopic. It also comes with a tilting function for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to bring them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.
The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, despite the lengthy instruction manual. It's heavier than other side-sleepers but it's still quite portable and can be moved from room to room with ease. It can also be folded up into its travel bag, which is great if you want to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel didn't flex as much compared to other models. This made it a bit harder to observe your baby from the bed.
The Shnuggle Air
If you're looking for an ideal bedside crib that can grow with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth looking into. It's a co-sleeping crib that attaches securely to your bed and can be transformed into a stylish cot when your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and enhancing the bond between you and your newborn.
The Shnuggle Air crib is designed to breathe, which is different from other models. The dual-view mesh side panels and airflow mattress that is hypoallergenic and breathable maximize airflow and keep your baby comfortable and cool. A gentle incline helps to ease reflux and colic while the zip down side allows you to feed or soothe your baby during the night.
The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to start. It took us around an hour to put together and was surprisingly simple. The only drawback was the absence of written captions on some of the pictures, which made it difficult to understand certain steps. However, overall it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of materials employed was of a high standard.
In the co-sleeping position, we discovered the Shnuggle Air to be an excellent choice for breastfeeding mums and women who have had a C-section because it lets them comfortably reach out to their infant for comfort and feeding without having to climb out of their bed. It's also great for those who wish to avoid the hassle of getting into and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down for a nap.
The gliding motion was discovered to be very helpful in lulling babies to sleep following feedings at midday or night. The drop-down sides make it easy to feed or soothe babies during the night.
